An Old Rotting Hull



Long Forgotten

Ever since We bought our cottage in North Cornwall over eight years ago I've walked the footpath around Delabole quarry taking in the great views across Cornwall. These run down & forgotten farm buildings have always had me thinking about who lived there or why this lovely place was allowed to become a ruin. I've taken many photographs from a distance in all weathers & for years wanted to explore the ruins & finally in January this year on a wet & very windy day finally got to achive this. These are just a few of those images.

A Love of Classic Vehicles.

Being the proud owner of a 1970 VW Micro bus, I have a great passion for old & classic cars so whenever I can get a chance to photograph them I`m all for it, sometimes travelling to different places & shows. These were taken at the Woodbridge Inn, Coalport. Near to where we had camped for our weekend in Shropshire.

 



 

Old Things & Old Friends

Last weekend I spent a great weekend in Shropshire with some old friends with whom I go way back with, enjoying talking about all the things we got up to in them good old days! While I didn't take any photos of the friends I managed to find some other old relics to photograph.


A couple of old rundown garages at Much Wenlock were a good opportunity for taking some great olde worlde images.

This little fella was sitting in His window just watching the world go by & occasionally  barking at passers by. He was a photo not to be missed, reminds me of the dog from His Masters Voice!  Is that His Master behind Him?

The question is.............was this a set up or did someone REALLY leave red gloves on a red table?

A Close Encounter with a Bird of Prey

One reason why I always carry my camera with me is because you never know when you'll come across a special moment & coming across this Buzzard in my own backgarden was one of those moments. This one was enjoying a chicken carcase, where it got it from I've no idea but I'm glad it was enjoying it where I could get these images.
