Long Forgotten

Ever since We bought our cottage in North Cornwall over eight years ago I've walked the footpath around Delabole quarry taking in the great views across Cornwall. These run down & forgotten farm buildings have always had me thinking about who lived there or why this lovely place was allowed to become a ruin. I've taken many photographs from a distance in all weathers & for years wanted to explore the ruins & finally in January this year on a wet & very windy day finally got to achive this. These are just a few of those images.

  1. So awesome Dave, I find these abandoned places so moving as once upon a time it was someone's whole life, now forgotten. We saw some similar images out west with abandoned towns and old mines. xxjen
